    Field manager/Owner Doug’s father Carl was a carpenter so Doug came into the trade naturally and  started as a seasonal Tradesmen as Doug moved from Alberta to pursue a career in BC Forestry. Doug got into construction as forestry is a seasonal job. Doug has a large background starting from fine joinery, Heavy Timber construction, Project management and seismic commercial renovation. Doug and Jordan combined there Companies in 2011 to Form TCF Contracting. Doug believes in training the future generations of tradespeople to become well-rounded carpenters.

    General Superintendent/Human resources/Estimator/Owner Jordan started his apprenticeship with his grandfather (Dougs father) working on various framing and concrete formwork projects when he was still in grade school. Once Jordan graduated High school and entered trade school gained experience in Commercial concrete formwork, Industrial concrete formwork, Residential framing, Commercial framing and Timber framing. Jordan Gained his Red seal in 2005 and started his own framing company in 2006. In 2011 Jordan and Doug combined forces to create TCF Contracting.     Project Manager  JARRYD SENICK AT AGE 33 JARRYD COMES FROM A DIVERSE BACKGROUND OF CARPENTRY EXPERIENCE.IN 2006 HE STARED His apprenticeship BUILDING Custom HOMES IN The greater VICTORIA AREA.FROM THERE HE WENT INTO Heritage Restorations and RENOVATIONS. TAKING A BREAK FROM Victoria he TRAVELLED TO Northern Canada WORKING on A VARIETY OF INDUSTRIAL SITES. MORE RECENTLY HE HAS BEEN Focusing ON THE BOUTIQUE- SIDE OF CARPENTRY WORKING IN A CUSTOM WOODWORK SHOP. CURRENTLY JARRYD IS OUR PROJECT MANAGER AND ENJOYs PASSING HIS CRAFT Along to THE NEXT GENERATION OF CARPENTERS.

    Supervisor/Layout I first got into carpentry doing pre-season dock repairs and pitching in with the renovations at a remote fishing lodge. After a few summers at the lodge I decided to pursue carpentry full time and completed my apprenticeship through The College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC.  As a third year apprentice I started on a large commercial concrete job for the first time and really started soaking up the knowledge.
